How to Pay..........
Ways of Paying.
You have two easy ways of paying. You can use the shopping cart and checkout system built in to the website or you can contact me directly (the old fashioned way!) and we can arrange things without the hassle of creating an account. The advantage of the checkout system is that it is an instant purchase and, once you have committed to buy an item, nobody else can jump in and beat you to it! With the direct contact method I will reserve the item as soon as I receive your email and you then have 7 days in which to pay for it. The risk is the time delay between you sending us an email and us receiving it. It is possible that somebody else could use that time to make an instant purchase online so be aware!!
- Use the checkout system built in to the Website. Add the required item to your basket, when you have finished shopping go to the checkout. At this point you will be prompted for your personal details. This will enable you to log back in to this site in future to review recent orders or check on the postal situation etc. Once you have created an account you can continue to the Payment section. At this point you have a number of easy choices;
a. If you have a Credit or Debit card you can use PAYPAL to make your payment. It is safe and secure and doesn't cost you anything extra.
b. If you have a PAYPAL account you can pay us directly from that. It is so easy!
c. If you wish you can send us a personal cheque. Please make all cheques payable to M Catley and send them to the address given on the checkout page. (It's the same as the one below)
- Send the Payment Direct. If you don't want to use the shopping cart you can still easily purchase any item. All you need to do is contact us direct to advise us of the item that you are interested in. The best way of contacting us is by email (pensales@vintagefountainpens.co.uk) or you can use the Contact Us tab at the bottom of the home page.
We will send you an invoice and you can pay us using your credit / debit card through PAYPAL, through your PAYPAL account or by personal cheque.
Please note we will only hold the item for 7 days. We must receive payment in that time or the item will be returned to the online store. The risk of not using the checkout system is the time delay between reserving the item and us acknowledging your request. An online instant purchase will remove the item from the store and could lead to disappointment.
