Parker Duofold Maxima in Dark Blue
The Duofold Maxima was first introduced in 1958. It sits at the top of the tree as Parkers flagship Duofold. It is a wonderful writing instrument with a great deal of presence. It was a sought after model but it came with a premium price tag and is therefore relatively rare.
This example is in excellent condition and is finished in dark blue. It writes with a beautiful smooth broad line and it uses the fabulously reliable aerometric filling system. It is fully serviced and ready to write.
The 14ct gold nib is the huge No.50, it is in excellent condition.
Apart from a few minor marks and a little discolouration near the section it is in excellent condition throughout.
