This is a very nice example of this early Conway Stewart No.388 fountain pen finished in Lilac Marble.
The 14ct gold nib is a medium and has a lovely flex.
In terms of condition, the pen is very good with only minor wear marks commensurate with age. It has a slightly worn but clear imprint and there are no deep scratches, chips or cracks to the cap or body. The gold plating is showing a little wear but is generally in good order and there are no added inscriptions.
Condition: Grade B (What does this mean).
