This is a fabulous example of the early boxed set comprising of a 312M Fountain Pen and a matching Duro-Point pencil. Both pen and pencil are finished in red ripple.
The 213M Fountain pen is in near mint condition and has seen very little use. the imprint is crisp and clear and the surface finish on the pen is unmarked. There are two gold filled cap bands, a gold filled lever and lever box, and a gold filled clip. There is a very small amount of plating wear, more from age than use.
The nib is solid 14ct gold and is a medium with a wonderful flex to it, the nib is virtually unused and is completely unmarked. The ink sack has been replaced and the pen is ready to write (or display if you prefer).
The Duro-Point pencil is in full working order, it too is in excellent condition but there are a couple of chips out of the top section.
This is a really nice set, provided in its original box. the Fountain Pen especially is in wonderful, near mint condition. It would be an asset to any collection.
Condition: Grade A (What does this mean).
