Parker Duofold Senior Streamlined "Big Red" Fountain Pen.
The Parker Duofold Senior was the flagship of the Duofold range in the late 1920's. The pen is finished in the classic Orange and is known the world over as the "Big Red" This is the later Streamlined version made from Permanite which superseded the hard rubber models from the early 1920's.
It is in excellent condition with only very minor wear marks. The imprint is clear. the clip is gold plated and the pen is fitted with two gold plated cap rings. The plating on both clip and cap rings is sound with only a small amount of wear.
The nib is on the fine side of medium and is in near mint condition. The button filling mechanism has been fully serviced and the pen is ready to write.
