This is a good example of the iconic Eversharp Skyline Fountain pen made by the Wahl eversharp Company shortly before the War.
The pen is finished in Dark Brown and is in overall very good condition with only minor marks and light scratches commensurate with light use.
The nib is a stiff fine (it is inscribed 'Manifold', originally intended for use with carbon paper) and it writes with a lovely smooth line. The pen uses the lever filling system which has been fully serviced and overhauled.
This pen is considered a classic and is extremely collectible, at the time the unique design represented a step change in the evolution of the fountain pens and set in place a trend that was followed by others for many years to come.
