Sheaffer 5-30 Fountain Pen and Propelling Pencil Set.
This is another nice example of the Sheaffer 5-30 Fountain Pen and matching pencil set dating from the mid 1930's. Both pen and pencil are finished in Brown and Black vertical striations. The set is fully functional and has been completely restored.
There are some minor scratches and marks commensurate with light use and the plating on the clip has worn off completely.
The imprint is clear and strong and the gold plating to the cap rings is intact.
The pen is fitted with its original nib, it is a medium and fairly stiff.
It is fully serviced and ready to write.
