The Parker 61 was introduced in the early sixties and utilised the revolutionary new capillary filling system. The capillary system was not a great success and was replaced later in the decade with the aerometric system borrowed from the Duofold and 51 range.
This is one of the later models and is fitted with the far better aerometric or squeeze fillers.
This is the Parker 61 Classic and it is mint condition, it has a maroon body and an unmarked lustralloy cap. It is fitted with a broad nib and writes beautifully.
The pen is in immaculate condition throughout.
