  • Nib: 14ct gold, Medium.

This pen is the very rare Dinkie 526. It is the early flat top design and is finished in the very desirable Harlequin multi coloured pattern. It dates from around 1925. The pen is trimmed with a gold filled chatelaine ring, an upper cap ring and two lower cap rings.

The pen is showing its age and the surface of the cap and barrel are lightly crazed. A split in the top of the cap has been repaired and stabilised.

The pen has been fully serviced and is in full working order. The nib is a medium and writes with a smooth line. The lever filling mechanism has been fully overhauled and works very well.

This is a good working example of this rare pen and it is priced to reflect the surface crazing and the repaired crack. If it wasn't for these minor faults the pen would be twice the price.

Condition: Grade C (What does this mean).
