Description.
This is a good example of this pen which continues to be very popular with collectors and enthusiasts.
This is the Blackbird 5248 finished in Grey Marble and dates from around 1940. The imprint on the barrel is clear and legible. The chrome plating on the clip is a little worn but the rest of the pen is in fabulous condition.
The Broad No.2 nib is superb and writes with a lovely smooth line. The pen has been fully serviced and is ready to write.
