This is an Eversharp Challenger Propelling Pencil, the Challenger range was the forerunner of the hugely popular Parker 45. When Parker took over Eversharp in the early sixties they took the design of the Challenger, tweaked it a little, and then re-launched it as the Parker 45.
This particular pencil is finished in Blue with a chrome filled cap and is in overall excellent condition. The pencil takes standard 0.9mm leads which are readily available.
