Parker Duofold AF in Black. Medium 14ct Gold Nib.
This is a good working example of the Parker Duofold and was made around 1955.
The pen is finished in black with gold filled trim to the clip and cap ring. It writes with a beautiful smooth medium line and it uses the reliable aluminium button filling system. It is fully serviced and ready to write.
cosmetically it is not the best pen in the world, there are some marks and small chips on the section beneath the nib and the gold plate to the clip and cap rings is very worn. There are also a number of small scratches and marks on the barrel.
If you are looking for a pretty pen in good condition then you need to look elsewhere on the site, if you are looking for a classic, reliable fountain pen for everyday use at a sensible price then look no further!
