Description.
This is a tremendous example of an early Swan Eye Dropper made in New York by Mabie Todd. It was made around 1890 and is in fabulous condition. The pen is fitted with a very flexible 14ct gold nib with an over-uder feed arrangement. The two decorative bands on the barrel are solid 18ct gold.
The imprint on the barrel is deep and clear and the chased pattern on the barrel is sharp and unworn. There is a Swan trademark / logo on the side of the cap which is also clear and sharp.
The pen has been fully serviced and is ready to write.
