This is a very nice example of the desirable Conway Stewart No.58 fountain pen finished in Lined Grey Marble.
The 14ct gold Duro nib is a Medium and, because Duro nibs have a higher gold content than normal Conway Stewart nibs, it is quite stiff.
In terms of condition, the pen is excellent with only minor wear marks commensurate with age. It has a deep, clear imprint and there are no deep scratches, chips or cracks to the cap or body. The gold plating is strong and there are no added inscriptions.
