Description.
This is a very nice example of the Swan Self Filler. This is the early model made from black hard rubber. It is decorated with a red ripple band at the top of the cap along with a gold filled band. There are two further gold filled cap bands on the barrel.
The imprint on the barrel is faint but still legible, the gold plating to the cap bands is worn in places and the black hard rubber has faded slightly with age but overall the pen is in excellent condition.
The nib is a fine and writes smoothly with a good flex.
The pen has been fully serviced and is ready to write.
