Parker Duofold Maxima in Black.
The Duofold Maxima was first introduced in 1958 at Parkers Newhaven Factory. It sits at the top of the tree as Parkers flagship Duofold. It is a wonderful writing instrument with a great deal of presence. It was a very sought after model but it came with a premium price tag and is therefore relatively rare.
This example dates from the early 1960's. It is in excellent condition and is finished in black. It writes with a beautiful smooth medium line and it uses the fabulously reliable aerometric filling system. It is fully serviced and ready to write.
The nib is the huge No.50, the biggest nib fitted to any of the Duofolds of that era. it is in excellent condition.
