Description.
This is a good example of the Blackbird 5248 by Mabie Todd. It is finished in Grey Marble with a chrome filled lever and clip.
The cap and barrel of the pen are in superb condition having been stored unused for the last fifty years! The lever and clip are showing some age related pitting which is not surprising. The imprint on the barrel is like new.
The pen is fitted with a Swan No.1 Fine 14ct gold nib which is a later replacement. It writes smoothly.
The pen has been fully serviced and is ready to write.
