This is an excellent example of the famous Watermans Ideal finished in a Toffee coloured Brown Striated Marble. This is one of the last Ideal models and dates from around 1950. It was made in the USA. The cap and barrel are in very good condition with no deep scratches or cracks, the imprint is still clear and legible.
The clip, double cap rings and the lever are all gold filled, they show light wear but there is no loss of plating.
The nib is a medium nib that writes with a smooth slightly wet line.
The pen is a lever filler and the filling system has been completely restored.
Condition: Grade A (What does this mean).
