Description;

This is an excellent example of the famous Watermans Ideal No.12 1/2 made from Red Hard Rubber in the very desirable Ripple Pattern.

It was made in the USA around 1915 and is in fantastic condition with a deep imprint and crisp colours. 

The 12 1/2 is a rare pen, it is quite small, the "half" signifies that it was half the diameter of the standard pen, it was intended as a purse or vest pocket pen.

It has been fully restored and now works perfectly. It is an eye dropper and is fitted with an amazing Medium Flex Nib. 

It is a small pen with a primitive filling method but, WOW, the nib is wonderful!!!!

It is supplied in a period Watermans box but I don't think it is original to the pen although it might be! I will supply an eye dropper with it.
