3475 Conway Stewart No.24 Fountain Pen and Propelling Pencil Set in Classic Black, Superb Medium FIVE STAR nib.

This is an excellent example of the rare No.24 Fountain Pen and matching no.18 Propelling Pencil. The set was made in the UK around 1940. It is finished in Classic Black with gold filled trim to the cap bands and clip. The colours are still bright and vibrant even after 80+ years. 

The barrel imprint on both Pen and Pencil is crisp and deep. The gold plate to the clips is a little worn but it looks worse in the photographs than it does in the flesh.  Both items are in excellent working condition, the pen is fitted with a lovely Medium nib which writes smoothly.

They have been fully restored and are ready to write.
