This is a nice example of the lovely No.24 Fountain Pen and matching Propelling Pencil. The set was made in the UK around 1948. It is finished in the desirable Lined Burgundy Marble with gold filled trim to the cap bands and clip.

The Fountain pen is in very nice condition with only minor marks. It is fitted with a lovely Medium Italic nib. There are some deep scratches on the section, they look like marks that a pair of pliers would have made. Maybe an inexperienced user tried to get the section off!!

The pencil works fine and is in similar very good condition.

The barrel imprint on both Pen and Pencil is crisp and the gold filled trim is in good condition. The set is supplied in its original box.

The 24 is one of the higher level Conway Stewart Pens and this one is a nice example.
