Description;

This is an excellent example of this rare and early Watermans Ideal No.22 eyedropper. This is the hard-to-find taper cap model in sterling silver with the desirable Line and Dot pattern. The silver bears a London Hallmark for 1913.

The pen is in excellent condition with no dings or dents in the barrel, the hallmark is clear and the centre band is marked "Watermans Ideal fountain Pen".

The model number normally found in the hard rubber post at the end of the barrel has worn off but I am sure this is the No.22 model although there may be some prefix for the Sterling Silver finish. The standard 22 was plain hard rubber.

There are no personalised engravings.

It has been fully restored and now works perfectly. It is an eyedropper and is fitted with an amazing full flex Fine nib which writes with a smooth line.

This is a lovely pen in excellent condition. It is supplied in a Watermans box to protect it, but it is not the original.
