Description.

This is a lovely Parker 51 Vacumatic set finished in Black with Rolled Gold caps. The set consists of a Blue Diamond Fountain Pen with a matching Propelling pencil.

Made in the USA, this is a very good example of this set which is date coded for 1946.

The pen is fitted with the reliable Vacumatic filling mechanism, borrowed from the earlier Vacumatic range of pens. It has been fully serviced and a new diaphragm has been fitted.

It is fitted with a wonderful Fine nib and is in overall good condition with light wear marks and scratches commensurate with use. The cap is in good condition with some minor marks and one small ding.

The pencil uses standard 1.0mm leads which are still readily available.
