Description.

This is an excellent example of the prestigious Parker Royal Challenger, the last of the brass button fillers. It was made in the USA and is date coded for 1939. 

The pen is in excellent condition throughout with only very minor marks and scratches commensurate with light use. The gold plating to the clip and cap rings is near perfect.

The imprint on the barrel is deep, clear and legible. The Marble and Herringbone finish is exemplary with bright and vibrant colours.

The pen uses the reliable button filling mechanism, the pen has been fully serviced and a new sac has been fitted. The pen is in full working order.

The 14ct gold nib is a lovely smooth Fine, it is original to the pen and is in excellent condition. It writes very nicely.

The pen is supplied in a hard presentation box which is not original. 

This is a rare pen in fabulous condition, you won't find one any better.
