Description;

The Parker Duofold Special was first introduced in the late 1920's as part of the Duofold Lucky Curve range. The pens were made from Permanite, Parkers name for Celluloid. The 'Special' Duofold sat between the standard and the Senior pens. They are the hardest of the Duofold Streamlined range to find nowadays.

This is the streamlined model, made in the USA around 1934. It is finished in the desirable Black lined Pearl marble with gold filled trim. The Barrel has darkened in comparison to the cap, a common issue on these pens.

The imprint is clear and deep and there are only very minor wear marks.

The pen is totally original and has been fully serviced.

The nib is a lovely Extra Fine which writes beautifully. These are lovely pens and very scarce in this sort of condition. The size and colour make this a very desirable pen.
