Description.

This is an excellent example of an early Swan Self Filling Fountain Pen, this is the SF130 which was made in the UK and dates from around 1930.

The pen is made from chased Black Celluloid with gold filled trim to the lever and three gold filled bands on the barrel and cap top.

The imprint on the barrel is clear and vibrant and the pen is in excellent condition throughout. 

As usual with these simple early Swan pens, the nib is fantastic! it is a lovely Broad Italic with a gentle flex which gives a lovely shape to your writing. It is a stunner!

The pen has been fully serviced and is ready to write.
