Description.

The Jackdaw, along with the Cygnet, are now the rarest and hardest find of all of the Mabie Todd range. They were entry level offerings at the time but surprisingly they were offered in bright and vibrant colours which were not available on the Blackbird or Swan range.

This a lovely example of the Jackdaw finished in (wait for it!) "Orangey Brown and Silvery Grey Marble with Black Inserts". A definite mouthful but that comes straight from the Mabie Todd Catalog of 1938. I have abbreviated this to Orange and Grey Marble. The pen is in fabulous condition and the colours are still bright and vibrant.

The Medium Italic Nib is superb and writes smoothly with a light flex. The pen has been fully serviced and is ready to write.
