Description;

This is a fabulous example of the ever-popular Imperial series from Sheaffer. This is the Fountain Pen and Ballpen set with a gold-plated finish in the desirable, top of the range, diamond pattern. The set dates from the early 1990's and was made in the USA. 

The fountain pen is fitted with an inlaid 14ct gold Extra Fine nib which writes very smoothly. It uses standard Sheaffer Cartridges, or an optional converter can be fitted to enable it to use bottled ink.

The Ballpen uses Sheaffers unique "reminder clip" to operate the mechanism. The reminder clip stops you attaching the pen to your shirt or jacket pocket without first retracting the refill. It uses standard Sheaffer refills and a brand new refill will be supplied with the pen.

The set is in very good condition with some minor marks to the gold plate.
