Description;

This is a lovely pen. it is a standard Watermans W2 fitted with a solid 9ct gold overlay in the Barleycorn pattern. The W2 is a substantial pen in the first place but with the overlay it is a wonderful writing instrument with a great deal of presence.

The pen is fully hallmarked and dates from 1953. The Cartouche has not been engraved.

The pen is in excellent condition with no dings or dents. The feed and section are in perfect condition. The clip is tight.

It has been fully restored and now works perfectly. It is a lever filler and is fitted with a lovely Broad Italic nib which writes with a smooth line.

This is a lovely pen in excellent condition. It will be supplied in a luxury presentation box so it will make a wonderful gift.
