This is the Sailor Chalana ball pen, one of the thinnest pens I have seen. The Chalana was first introduced around 1976 and it is only 5.8mm in diameter at the base of the cap!

It is finished in Red with chrome trim and is in mint condition. 

The pen is fitted with a refill that is working fine but I don't know how long it has been in there. Replacements are readily available, www.penfriend.co.uk have a stock of them for £4 each.

The Sailor brand is very popular for good reason, the pens are well made and reliable.
