Description;

This is a nice example of the iconic Lifetime Senior Flat Top Fountain Pen, a huge pen measuring 170mm (nearly 8") when the cap is posted.

It was made in the USA around 1935 and is finished in Jade Green Celluloid with Gold filled trim to the clip and cap band. The pen carries the famous white dot to signify Sheaffer's Lifetime Warranty. The Jade Green is bright and consistent throughout, with a little darkening to the middle of the cap and barrel.

There is a neat inscription on the barrel "Compliments of Unit A"

It is fitted with a lovely Fine nib which writes beautifully. The pen is in excellent condition throughout with minor wear marks. The imprint is clear and deep. The pen uses the reliable Lever filling system and it has been fully serviced.
