Description;

The Parker Duofold was first introduced in 1921 as part of the Duofold Lucky Curve range. The early pens were made from Red Hard Rubber. Towards the end of that decade more suitable and durable materials were available and Parker introduced the Streamlined Duofold range around 1929. They were now made from Permanite, Parkers name for Celluloid. The pens now came in a range of exotic colours - Mandarin Yellow, Jade Green and Lapis Lazuli Blue as well as the traditional Chinese Red and, of course, Classic Black.

This particular pen is the Duofold Junior finished in Lapis Lazuli. The finish is clear with none of the usual darkening. The imprint is clear and deep and there are only very minor wear marks.

The pen is totally original and has been fully serviced.

The nib is a lovely Medium which writes beautifully with a light flex. These are lovely pens and very scarce in this sort of condition. The colour makes this a very desirable pen.
