The CF was one of the first cartridge / Converter pens to be introduced. It was made in the UK from around 1962 until around 1965 but production continued in France well into the 70's. It was a tremendous pen and it was highly thought of, but the cartridges were not a standard size and when they were no longer available the majority of CF's were discarded. The converters are very difficult to find as well.

The story is quite sad as the pens were made well and the design was pleasing to the eye. This story, however, has a happy ending as this particular pen set, as well as being in very good condition, also comes with a full pack of CF Cartridges so it can be used as it was intended. Many CF users simply use a syringe to refill the cartridges with their favourite ink. The cartridges can be used many times in this way.

This set was made in France around 1970 and has seen very little use. It is finished in brushed Stainless Steel. The beautiful 18ct gold Medium nib on the pen writes very nicely. The Pencil is the twist propelling type  and uses 0.9mm leads which are still readily available.
