Description.

This is a lovely example of an early Safety Fountain Pen. This is the Watermans No.12.S in Chased Black Hard Rubber. The chased pattern is still deep on the cap but has worn down (by the users hand) on the barrel.

The nib is stunning, with light pressure it writes with a silky smooth Extra fine line measuring 0.3mm wide, with more pressure it flexes to a Double Broad measuring 1.5mm!! It is silky smooth through its entire range and is lovely to write with.

The pen has been fully serviced with new seals fitted and is ready to write. It will be provided with an eyedropper with which to fill it.

This is a lovely example of this classic pen.
